1. إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ
Idha jaa’a nasru Allahi walfath.
(When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest.)
2. وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا
Wara-ayta annaasa yadkhuloona fee deeni Allahi afwaja.
(And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes.)
3. فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا
Fasabbih bihamdi rabbika waistaghfirhu innahu kana tawwaba.
(Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance.)
Virtues of Surah An-Nasr:
1. A Message of Gratitude and Humility
The surah reminds believers to glorify Allah and seek His forgiveness even during times of victory.
It teaches humility and gratitude as essential traits for a Muslim.
2. Significance in the Life of the Prophet (ﷺ)
Surah An-Nasr was revealed as a sign of the completion of the Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) mission and a prophecy of his near passing.
Ibn Abbas (RA) said: “This surah is a notification to the Prophet (ﷺ) that his time on earth is drawing to an end.”
3. Encouragement to Seek Forgiveness
Surah An Nasr emphasizes seeking Allah’s forgiveness at all times, showing that even in triumph, a believer remains dependent on Allah’s mercy.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
1. When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest,
2. And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes,
3. Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance.
